Meet Los Otros

Adam Ramirez

From Hollywood, CA, Adam began playing violin at the age of five and has a wealth of experience.  From being a member of the San Jose and California Youth Symphonies, getting into mariachi music at the age of 15, Adam’s music career has involved to performing with some of the best mariachi groups in the nation such as Mariachi Sol de Mexico, Mariachi Los Galleros de Pedro Rey, and Mariachi Internacional de Mexico.  Aside from performing and being involved with music education for over thirty years, Adam has been an actor for the past ten years and has been featured in multiple commercials, including commercials with Stan Lee and Kevin Smith.  A founding member of Los Otros, Adam performs on violin, vocals, and percussion.

Tizoc Ceballos

From Commerce, CA, Tizoc’s music career started through the Mariachi Heritage Society at the Los Angeles Music and Arts School. By the age of 15, Tizoc was fully immersed into the mariachi world and has since had the privilege of sharing the stage alongside some of the most talented musicians in the field.  Not limited to mariachi music, Tizoc has had the opportunity to perform Orchestral, Jazz, Country, Klezmer, and Hip Hop music. Outside of performing, he is a middle school music director and has been involved in mariachi education for over twenty years.  A founding member of Los Otros, Tizoc performs on bass and vocals.

JJ Garcia

From Compton, CA, his professional music career stemmed from picking up the trumpet back in 1995 and soon after joining his middle school mariachi class.  Since then, JJ has over twenty years of experience as a professional musician.  Branching off from mariachi music, JJ is now a member of Los Otros where he shares his talents with us on guitar, trumpet, percussion, and vocals.
